In June’s subscription box we are featured fishing tackle produced by Big Nic Fishing out of the Wilmington, NC area. In 2001, Nic started Big Nic Fishing in his single-car garage in the hopes of building a business that allows him to share his passion for fishing. Anyone who knows Nic knows that he puts his whole heart into his lures. He is constantly experimenting and innovating to provide the best possible product available. Now, Big Nic Fishing has grown out of the garage and can be found across the nation. Nic credits his success to his parents for raising him to be a hard worker and overcome any obstacle. He is also driven by his love of his three daughters, who also share his love for fishing.

Now let's get to the meat and potatoes of what you will find in your June 2023 Subscription Box;

For the month of June, we included several

Big Nic Diamonds of varying sizes. These lures are the perfect inshore and offshore jig that is great to use when you are looking and searching for fish. The fast action and vibrant colors of the diamonds are irresistible to fish. The diamonds are rigged with a VMC 4x strong permasteel size 1/0 treble hook. You will want to use these lure off a boat or pier when you are going after Spanish mackerel, bonito, false albacore, and bluefish.

We also included the highly sought after Spanish Candy’s! We included varying sizes, colors and added a few bonus glow in the dark variations to really make you a master out on the water. The Big Nic Spanish Candy lures are highly recommended by several charter Captains in the Wilmington and Topsail Island area. What makes the Spanish candy lure so important is the fish-attracting flash it creates in the water. We tested these bad boys out one afternoon about 11 miles offshore and were amazed about all the different types of fish that could not resist the allure of these jigs. Much like the diamond jigs, you will want to use these lures from land, off a boat or a pier when you are going after Spanish mackerel, bonito, false albacore, and bluefish. The Spanish candy’s are rigged with a VMC 4x strong permasteel size 1/0 treble hook.
